1993 Rover 214 Si - 36,000 miles - £250
Hello everyone.
I'm currently selling my 1993 Rover 214Si with only 36,000 miles on the clock with one previous owner from new (all original paperwork included). I bought it with the intentions of restoring it to it's former glory, unfortunately plans have changed. You could say I'm giving up but I'm off to Japan next month so I don't want to chuck any more money into it.. I'll copy some details from the eBay advert (which I'll be ending soon as I don't want it going to the scrapyard up above which I'm concerned it will): The Good Points: 1 owner from new Low mileage of only 36,000 (avg. of around 1,700 miles a year) MoT until 19th October 2015 Recent new windscreen Original paperwork including sales receipt New head gasket, cambelt, waterpump, distributor cap, rotary arm, crank sensor, leads and spark plugs No rust on any of the arches The Bad Points: Car struggles to start (it fires straight up on a jump pack everytime) When idling, if revved the car will stall when the revs drop to return to idle Dent in drivers side Laquer peel on roof Missing rear spoiler Very high biting point on the clutch (it is drivable and it never slipped on me) Missing owners handbook and service book, but service receipts are including with paperwork It could be a simple fix but I have no idea and don't want to spend anymore on an uncertain fix. With all that in mind I'm looking to just regain my money from the head gasket repair which comes to £250. Car is located in the WR11 area. |
