Thanks Jeff. Those bumbles are tricky. The small hairs really show up any movement. Lots of duds to get that good one.

I like using my sigma 60mm with extension tubes so much, I have traded in my Tamron 90mm macro for a sigma 30mm. It is the same family as the sigma 60mm and gets equally good reviews. So here is hoping the deal goes through.

I have my new 30mm DN Art sigma lens.

Trouble is, it is cold overcast and raining.

Looks the part that's for sure.

If it's anything like my 18-35 F1.8 Art Lens (sadly for sale on here) it'll be a cracker Paul

The MOST important thing is that it is shiny

Took a few with my new 30mm Sigma lens today. I am quite pleased. It behaves as I hoped it would.

Fantastic morning. Dew on the grass. Sun on your back. Mist in the trees. Blue sky with wispy white clouds and err mud in the fields.

Taken with my new Sigma 30mm

First sighting for me this year. (Rubbish pics but hey)

The world feels correct again now.

Woodpeckers are drumming and laughing. Saw 4 butterflies and a few honey bees also. Seen some before but not all on the same day.

I took a few pics of flowers today as the insects have all hidden. (bar one)
Note the small spectator bottom right in the wallflower pic
No idea what the red flower is
I did not realise what fantastic flowers the dead nettles have because they are so tiny, they are easily overlooked.
A few more on Flickr.
