Default Bargain now. MGZT 160+ 42k miles **SOLD**

Ok I give in. I am reducing the price of my gorgeous 42024 mile MG ZT 160+ to £1500. Why? Because I reluctantly accept these fantastic cars are fetching rubbish prices and I can't store her until the values come back, which of course they will, eventually.
I have advertised for two weeks on Autotrader, Gumtree and Piston Heads. No one at all has come to see her! Strangely I have received 4 emails offering £1300 from people who gave not even seen her. Even the local garage offered £1000! - not bad for a trader really. I want to reduce my overdraft so need her to go in next couple of weeks really.
Clear health check! - MOT to 30 July 2015. Immaculate Xpower grey metallic paint. Spotless half leather interior, even drivers seat excellent. Service history includes most bills including important belts / water pump changes in 2012. New front tyres just fitted. Rears good, spacesaver spare unused. Electric windows all around, elec mirrors, CD changer etc Everything works as it should do.
Bad points: I have not yet fitted reversing light switch but hope to this weekend. One tiny paint chip on bonnet leading edge.
Would someone like to look after her? Any inspection welcomed.

I work in Stonehouse just up the road from you. Lovely car.

Best I can do is offer a viewing to anyone who wants an apraisal but judging by the pictures and description its pretty much done anyway and looks great.

Default Accept offers or not?

Well I now have two firm offers of £1400 and £1450 respectively. Trying to decide whether to accept. Seems such a small amount of money for a future classic with only about 3or4 years normal mileage. I am sure once she's gone more people will want her. Decisions decisions decisions ..............

Sorry to hear you've had such poor offers. However, I sold a far older car, in the form of an immaculate Rover 827, registered in 1990, with just 40,000 miles, and struggled to get £850 for it. Being a classic has no bearing on value, unfortunately!
Good luck with the sale, whatever you decide!

Personally pal I'd take the offers you've got as I don't think you'll get higher currently!

Get the cash and then it's onwards & upwards

Default Back to drawing board!

Well what a beautiful Sunday morning. Unfortunately not good for selling. My chosen buyer has pulled out saying his mother has given him a car. The other one I don't trust as they have not seen the car, want me to message their PayPal account to request the funds and say they will pay and arrange car to be collected. I think this is some dirt of scam. So my lovely car is. Still up for grabs guys.

Yes; leave the PayPal buyers alone

It is a scam; they use stolen credit cards and basically pay your PayPal account and then you're left unable to withdraw the monies and you're without a car too!!!

Cash in hand or bank transfer ONLY and make sure the pennies have cleared first in your account, if you go for the latter, before you let the car go!
