PK54HLG/vin 631 bought
Picked-up 631 from Chiltern Cars today. Now sitting on my driveway. Probably bought a bucket of troubles but hey-ho what's life about.
First question. The sidelight/headlight switch appears to illuminated when the car has been turned-off and locked. Pulled two 5A fuses (13 and 25) to no effect. I assume all should be dark, as in my other 75s. Any remedies known please? |

Good luck with the new car. Hopefully you have years of trouble free motoring. Enjoy and post up some pics.

Point taken. It had been for sale at Chiltern for so long I assumed it had been viewed frequently. At present it has a Symphony radio. I'll be replacing that with a Kenwood D/D navigation/radio/usb unit soonest. I installed one in my Contemporary and think they're a good upgrade. I'll put-up some pictures of the revised dash layout when done. If I can work out how. I have some pictures of the Cat D repair to the rear end and the damaged headlining. However they were used to talk down the vehicle when buying. Thus far it's been an enjoyable acquisition. Being a long-standing 75 owner a leaky boot comes as no surprise and I've a back-up battery ready charged.
Meanwhile here's an old article about the car: http://www.aronline.co.uk/blogs/blog...odern-classic/ and a thread from a previous owner on the v8 forum: http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ighlight=75sco |

Disappointed with the lack of Xenons on a "30k" car!!
Other than that, she looks rather well !! Awesome! |

Thank you Brian. Any pictures I have highlight the flaws in the bodywork and headlining. Regarding the absence of Xenons - standard projectors will be fine at 69.9 m.p.h.
