Wink possible engine change

Afternoon folks. I have a 75 1.8 on an 02 plate which has no problems at the moment thankfully, but I have been offered a very low mileage unit from an MG (25 shape)160 on a 03 plate.
It's a 1.6 I assume and seems to have an extra set of cogs and belt on the other end of the camshafts. Is this a vvc unit and would it be compatable with my 75 should the need arise? If it will there's no harm in having it in the shed I guess
Thanks in advance...Derek

The vvc engine is a 1.8 but is not compatible with your mems unit or layout.
