Default Engine Swap

Hi All

I'm not quite sure if this is the right section, but here goes anyway. My poor old T90TT is looking very sad, but mechanically she is quite good. It looks like I have the chance of a good shell, minus engine/gearbox and several other items, but the other shell is from a diesel vehicle. What I need to know is can a diesel body and a petrol V6 lump be made compatible. I have done some dumb things with cars but I have a feeling this is a step too far.

All doable, but you will have to swap the fl wiring harness from the V6 into the diesel along with all the other bits (ecu, ipk etc)

Hi Trikey
Sorry for delay in replying, as I thought the electrics would be the main problem ( for me anyway ) as it turned out saw car it had a very good shell , no dings or bumps but two dam great holes in vicinity of rear suspension thats why its being broken , bloke who bought it was not a happy bunny drove it from seller home then to garage to have hand brake adjusted as seller advised , garage pointed out damage ,drove it home and started breaking it after finding out seller had done a bunk, Nice people around. must check around my cars rear end .
