Paint repair stickers. Worthwhile??
I have a problem with paint scuffs on my front doors caused by people opening their floors against mine causing paint abrasion without dents.
This is due to having to park in narrow bays of a work car park every day This spoils the appearance and is especially noticeable when the car has been washed. I am considering trying these. https://www.autostickeroriginal.co.uk/ Does anyone here have experience of using them? The colour is Tempest/X-power grey LEF

No experience of these, but similar sheets of paint stickers were available in the 1970's (I probably have some on the garage!), and they were quite successful on some scratches, but not all. They were, however, a perfect colour match, but then paints were different.

I recall using something like them myself on a 10 Year old Mk2 Ford Escort with the common Diamond White non metallic paint and it certainly looked better.
The pic attached shows the issue I have with my doors

Just watched their little vid - the barely visible (from 6'-10' away) chip disappeared completely (at 6'-10' away) - what did it look like from a 1' away I do wonder??

Compound is basically a heavy duty polish. You can get it in varying grades (much like wet & dry paper) - the harsher the compound, the more of the paint finish it removes. A good all rounder would be Meguires Ultimate Compound. It's easiest to use with a machine polisher, but it can be done quite successfully by hand, just takers a little longer. Cliff

These stickers sound interesting. I'm going to do paint correction later this year and I have quite a few stone chips that will need painting. If these stickers do what they say and are the correct colour then it's a viable alternative to the touch up paint.
Ali.
