Default Xenon headlight problem

Just the last few days when I first switch on my Xenon head lights the offside one does not come on and I get the IP telling me bulb failure ..... but if I turn them off and on again quickly they all light up ok and IP goes off.
When they are on they are normal and fully bright ....Any ideas guy's

My first port of call would be to check the loom wiring to the headlight. Known problem area that can cause issues as the loom chafes on the metal edge of the cross member. One side usually has a piece of rubber protection, the other not.

Also, when taking the connector off, check for corrosion. Might be a simple intermittent issue. you can add a little vaseline to the male connectors and connect and disconnect a few times to help clean up simple corrosion on the terminals.
