Default Removing Chrome Foot Plate Trim

My new bits of trim have arrived safely from Rimmers. Before I make a complete stuff up of the job, does anyone know how to safely remove these trims from the car? It's the bit in the accross the top of the door tread with "Rover" written on:

Cheers,

Cliff

Just push fit Cliff, lever one end until it pops, repeat other end & one in the middle. You might pull the white clips up with it, but they just push back in

Cheers Ronnie, I'll give it a go. The new trims came with new clips already fitted which confused me (easily done) as I had assumed that they where just stuck on with trim tape.

All safely swapped over. New trim looks worse than the old though, as it came with a protective plastic film and I decided to leave it in place for the time being to give an extra level of protection from scuffs.

Just replaced the front ones so far, as I figured they would be difficult to polish up properly witout damaging the "Rover" lettering.

Cost £11.54 +VAT each from Rimmers, plus post and packing, which always seems expensive from Rimmers, but they do package them well. Total was £38.44 for both trims.

I got a couple from a scrapper with the intention of cutting out the "Rover" & fitting leds under, so it lights up when you open the door
Never got round to it
