For steering wheels, I tend to use a bit of diluted all purpose cleaner. Does just the same job as a lot of the fancy leather cleaners. Once it's clean, a bit of leather cream, and it looks lovely once again.

Hi.
The vanish soap bar is by far the best and isn't as harsh on leather as other cleaners. Give it a good few wipes after though with a damp cloth to get the soap off, once dry use a leather cream to lubricate it,

Would you say this is dirty or worn?

It looked fine till i cleaned it with autoglym leather cleaner when the colour just seemed to dissolve off it.

You need to get the dirt off before you dye it or it just sits on top instead of being absorbed by the leather.

Search Stubies leather dye and you will be able to contact him for sandstone dye - used by many satisfied members.

I've just cleaned mine after having dirt and oil marks.

Use an all purpose cleaner with a strong dilution rate and a microfiber cloth. Even agitate it a little with a bristle brush. Then wipe off. Then use a dedicated leather cleaner. I use dr leather. Very highly rated in the detailing world. Works a treat. Spray some on and agitate with a brush then wipe off with a cloth. Mines like new again.
