Sorry, forgot to update this one......i found a wire with a clip attached was loose on,what looks like a starter motor at the back of the engine...when i pushed it back on the motor started! This happened on and off over the next few months and then my wife took the car out, parked up and had the radio,fan..well everything electrical and ran the battery down....quick call to Green Flag and they said..duff battery...changed it and no starter problems ever since.
So, if u have the same problem..check the battery and then the little clip on the starter motor
