Default Dorchester Red with Aubergine Interior #Sold#

CAR HAS BEEN SOLD

Anyone looking for a project car?

Y Reg Japanese Specification Dorchester Red 2.5 V6 Auto with the rare Aubergine Leather interior. £750

IPK says 65k but the mileage seems to have been rolled back by 30k a couple of years ago according to the MOT history. There is an err on the trip display which indicates that the light module has been changed and not coded to the IPK.

Spec is
2,5 V6 Auto
Cruise and Traction control
Rear Blind
Front and Rear electric Windows
Aubergine heated Leather front seats with memory
Rear Parking sensors (long beep issue)
Powerfolds (passenger side not working but can hear motors running)
Symphony Radio with CD changer (no cartridge)
Harmon Kardon Sound System
Crown Alloys not dimpled with decent tyres.
Mot until mid March 2017

Let's start with the good;

Exterior body panels are reasonable for its age, a scratch line on passenger door, some marking around the boot key lock and a small hole about 3 ml in the front bumper near the drivers front light and some paint bubbling the front of the bonnet,

Inside is much better, Aubergine leather seats are not torn or worn, seat backs all intact. Embossed head rests and colour coded Steering wheel, gearknob and handbrake grip. Lovely full walnut dash.

No lights on IPK on startup and engine starts on the button.
Had some work done on front suspension and exhaust to pass this years MOT in March last year.

The not so good;
Around the Sunroof, obviously to stop the Sunroof leaking previous owners has tried to seal it so there are remnants of tape backing and currently the sunroof is sealed with silicone. At worst it will need some paint repairs but it could all come off cleanly using a heat gun or some kind of solvent.

Passenger sill has been damaged with a low kerb perhaps, almost 3/4s of it. It seems solid enough. This has been painted over and looks much better

I have the service history book but the services have been patchy and it has had 8 previous owners.
No record of cambelt being done at all. Just receipts for recent work and service.

Only one key which works fine.

There you have it, a rare car that been neglected for the last few years but with some time and money could grace the roads for another 20 years.

I've tried to be honest in the description as I can. Remember this is a drive away car with a current MOT.
I will supply with a new set of Rover aubergine overmats.

I will also include a set of 3 Gates cambelts, Tensioners and Water Pump for a belt change.

Bump now reduced to £530 as needs a driver side spring.

Will need to be transported.
