Winter protection.
I have always had a paranoia about keeping my cars clean, for looks and for body work longevity.
With the zt being exceptionally clean I want to make a big effort to keep it that way. I currently have boxes full of Meguiars, Autoglym, Dodo and more cleaning products that I periodically use, but what I want to know is what is the best protection I can give my car over winter? The car is washed and Waxed religiously but what else can I do to keep that pesky salt away? What do you guys use? Beeding paint work for your troubles. Thanks, James. For paintwork, I always use Collinite 476S. Gives great protection and lasts for months. An example of the beading from last year:

Looking good as always Clyde. Glad to see her paintwork's well protected from the elements - as you would expect from the Grand Master of Nevving.

I always wonder if any wax treatments make any difference with my GMN white gold 75 as it seems to be sealed with a lacquer and therefore impervious to rain, am I correct, I wax it because of the supposed protection from UV light.

A good wax or sealant will act as a sacrificial barrier to protect the clear coat. It helps prevent airborne pollutants from contaminating the lacquer and dulling the finish, as well as making subsequent washing easier.
