Yes, the polish and sealant you have is fine. I'd apply the carnauba wax that you have after the polish. It's good stuff and just top it up regularly after each wash. Try and wash it regally, every week or two. Get a couple of larger brushes to clean the wheels through the spokes and also the wheel arches.

Further it maintainance will be a lot easier. You will only complete all these steps twice a year. Then future just a case of regular washes and wax as well as your wheels and tyres etc.

Super replies from Rav. Just be carefull with your pressure washer, as you say it sprays out tfr as well. This may well strip all your wax if its a strong mix.

Brilliant posts Rav, thanks for the help ... I'll get some things bought and report back when the wether behaves long enough for me to actually use them

7T5 , I'll use it to get mos tot the existing wax off to start from, but can turn the chemicals off on a tap,so won't ruin it once done , but a good point.

I decided to get a smaller pressure washer for home use, which came with a foam lance so I can do that but now was well.

Are the any particular foams worth getting or avoiding ?

I personally use Autobrite Magifoam which I think is decent. There's lots of choices out there to be honest. Most will do an OK job. But, that is what I use.

Yep, auto finesse and BiltHamber snow foam is highly regarded, also.

Not a AF fan, overpriced rebadged stuff. Must admit i tent to stick with Autosmart and Autoglym. Great value products made and developed buy the actual companies. Plus the added fun of a shopping trip to the Autosmart truck
