Red face 100mm stretch Rover 75 (not a full limo)

Have a look at this car which has just appeared on Autotrader

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...ge/1?logcode=p

It was sold recently on eBay and is a development car which was given a 100mm stretch rather than the 200mm on the full Limo.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rover-75-2-5-V...item2560abf7ae

The car has no rear door pockets or a rear clock like the proper limousine.

I have no interest in the car but its probably unique!

I beleive this is what the Roewe 750 is based on a 100mm stretch, not the 200mm version, so i wouldnt be surprised if this is potentially a Roewe prototype that MG Rover produced to woe them!

It is quite special indeed. The whole dash is in Sandstone in stead of Black/Sandstone... Love that, I have to say....

And indeed the 100 mm stretched is the "same" car as the Roewe 750, as the MG 7 is the 75 as we know it here.

Think me & Mrs Jules saw that car in the flesh when we went to the Longbridge Showroon in 2008.
I remember the interior was much more colour co-ordinated.
Although there was still a mixture of Sandstone and Cream which is a bit of a clash IMO

On the same visit we saw the red 75 Coupe prototype.

That is rather stunning! I love this sort of thing, the escaped prototypes and the like. Do I win spotters points for noticing the front and rear seats don't match?
