Cleaned the bird sh--t off Rover, fitted new clips to drivers side inner sill/ carpet trim, then got to work with wonder wheels on the alloys. Everything nice and shiny! Told my wife to have a look, she said, you think more of your car than me??

Replaced the handbrake lever and adjusted the rear shoes so the handbrake system is all good. Unfortunately, noticed the rear arms need replaced. The 75 is parked up for the week and looks like I'm using the Fiat 500 as daily transport. The 75 might be at Gretna next weekend as the coupes still in the bodyshop but that will be its last outing until I can get the arms replaced. I have the options of turning up in a 500 or Paceman. I'm picking some wheels up as I might of been tempted to get the mini out

Finished fitting my s/s bolts, started this last weekend but one of the bolts securing the headlight decided to snap, had to take the bumper and headlight off and heat it up. Looks a bit tidier now

The PPD stuff is real wood, post PPD is genuine fake.

It's easy enough that I can do it, (and I'm not exactly handy), nor do I have the best or biggest tool set in the world. The only ''tricky'' bit is the passenger airbag fascia, you need a T20 Hollow Torx head for that

to add to Rooney's post, some people find the central air vent control fiddly, and have heard of damage being done due to its fiddliness. I found a pair of pointy nosed pliers handy at this point. Squeeze the retaining clip holding the bowden cable from its support, and the cable will become easy to manipulate out.

Aside from the torx bit and pliers, I would advise not to use any other tools for the dash parts, rather use finger tips. Fingertips are soft forgiving and very very responsive to your senses

Splitter fitted, painted grills black and fitted led sidelights, ive now got a warning light on my dash now because of the sidelight leds though so might put the standard ones back in.

I agree.

CLF's looks amazing.

I argued with myself for a month about whether I should be leaving the ZT interior as it came. Spent a fortnight driving the tourer, couldn't get the walnut out of the blood.

Now the next problem, I have the best kept alacantra interior I've ever seen, not a mark on the bolsters. I love it, yet I think I want to put black leather from a contemporary in
