Default MG ZT+ - 2.5 V6 saloon "SE" spec ***Sold***

**** SOLD & GONE TO A NEW HOME IN DERBYSHIRE TO A VERY PLEASANT FORUM MEMBER *****

This is NOT the cheapest ZT 190 on the market but I am reasonably certain it is one of the best with no expense having been spared in maintaining it in outstanding condition. If you think it is too expensive, price up the work done, add that to the cost of a cheaper one and then do a price compare.

In pristine condition with only 73,000 miles recorded (see comment below about new engine), my "51 plate" Trophy Blue ZT 190 is a car that has years of high quality life left in it. Comfortable, sure footed, exceptionally quiet, relaxing - this is one of the finest cars I have owned. Am selling simply as I don't use it overly much and it seems a pity not to let someone else enjoy this car on a more frequent daily driver basis.

Items to specifically mention

1) Complete NEW (not reconditioned) engine fitted by MGR (verification letter available) at 40,000 miles Hence this engine has only completed 33,000 miles in its life.

2) New clutch and DMF fitted Nov 2011 @ 62,000 miles (Invoice for £960).

3) Full 60,000 mile service (By Lates) including all belts & tensioner & VIS motors in April 2011 (Invoice for £696).

4) 4 new Avon ZZ3 tyres in April 2011 @ 63,000 miles (Invoice for £284). Full size spare wheel (this wheel has NOT been refurbed as I bought it simply to get rid of the original spacesaver) and unused tyre since fitting new in March 2012.

5) 4 new discs & pads (Black Diamond), 4 new springs fitted by Motobuild in March 2012 (Invoice for £519).

6) Wheels professionally powder coated in June 2011 - completely unmarked in deep shine silver. (Invoice for £264)

7) Double Din unit fitted (Radio, SatNav, Digital TV, CD, iPod interface), Steering Wheel Controls fully functioning. Face plates colour coded to match rest of interior (gun metal grey).

8) Paintwork in exceptional (high gloss - "swirl" free) condition.

9) Interior unmarked (black leather and grey alcantara, gunmetal trim)

10) New rear light seals fitted last year and no water leak into boot since.

11) Clean MOT (advisory on rear box - since checked out and outer skin only found to be rusting - since removed). Handbrake compensator fitted Sep 2012. Plenum "spy hole" mod - there has NEVER been any sign of moisture in the plenum. T&T to June 2013.

12) Standard boomerang rear boot spoiler has been changed to the one from an MG ZS and professionally sprayed to match bodywork.

13) 2 remote fobs/keys, both of which work.

14) APOLOGIES - been advised my car is NOT an SE but IS a +Spec which means it has the following goodies (all of which function 100%):
Cruise Control
Side head impact airbags
Highline satellite navigation including TV tuner (I replaced this with a RadioGuy DD unit).
Rear Door Mounted Tweeters (Harmann Kardon system)
Black Leather Sports Seats
Rear Map Pockets
Message centre highline instrument pack including trip computer
Auto-dimming rear view mirror
Rear parking aid
Rain sensing wipers
Headlamp power wash
Heated washer jets

Priced at £1,850

I am open to SENSIBLE offers but won't accept anything that is outrageously silly. If it doesn't sell at a price that reflects the work done and condition it is in then I'll simply keep it and enjoy it myself from time to time.

Car located in Surrey.(Private plate to be removed prior to sale).

I don't care what anyone else says but that is an excellent price for a car in such a lovely condition. If I was in the market for one I'd grab your hand off but two is plenty at the moment. Love that colour too

Do you have any pictures of the interior, or can you advise what trim code the interior is please?

Cheers

Not sure on the code, the trim colours are black with grey alcantara, dash is gunmetal grey. I think I have some pictures on my home machine - will post more this evening.

well seeing as I paid 1700 for a v6 160 with no history in dec 2011 from a retailer, I'd say its a bargain.
