Windrush Update
Spent a couple of hours with Derek today in hospital, he is still on oxygen, but I must admit he is looking a lot better than of late. He is a lot Perkier and eating well. Even managed to walk to the door, of the ward, he has a catheter fitted, which is a lot more convenient for him. He won't be going home just yet until he is able to climb some stairs, But all in all he was so happy to see us and chat about cars, gave him his souvenir from the Roverfest, and he was overjoyed. I said everyone on here sends their regards and good wishes for him to get well. Rev |

Many thanks for the update Julian. Sounds if Derek will soon be back to his old self.

Glad to hear that Derek is improving.
Funny Derek lived really close to my Aunt Marion that passed away over a year ago, in a few messages we exchanged, he came over as real gent and very caring, one of life's real old fashioned gentlemen. Really looking forward to Derek's input here once again. Take care young man.

Nice to hear of Derek's progress and that they are keeping him there until he is properly better and fit to go home .
