I've got one. A 75 Tourer. Yay!

Thumbs up Brake lights On??

any idea why the brake lights would stay on and how to fix it?
its a Rover 75 cdti estate.

Dodgy brake pedal switch - they can work loose.

Check the sensor at the top of the brake pedal - to reset it push the pedal down,then push the sensor fully down into its holder and then gently let the pedal come back up again.

If that doesn't cure it check fuse 13 - if it blows the brake lights will stay on.
