Rover 75's on the IOW
This weekend I was on the IOW due to an elderly relative having a significant birthday.
I was amazed at how many 75's were over there in comparison to the mainland. I think I only did about 80 miles in the 3 days but I must have seen 20+. Just today we went to the Donkey sanctuary and there were 2 there, a very tidy Estate and a saloon. Most seemed to be MK 1's and I think none had smiley rear number plates. Next time I am over there I must visit a scrapyard to see if there are any good pickings. |

That's 'cos the IoW runs in a different space/time continuum = about 30 years behind the rest of us

Haha yep, the average age is around 80. I am a junior at 53 and my Tourer Diesel is giving me some pain at the moment. Failed MOT on front suspension bushes. Garage originally quoted me £44 a side for new arms (as they said this was easier than changing the bushes), took the old ones off, shearing some bolts on the way and then told me it was a mis quote and the arms are £94 each. So, 2 at £94, 2 bushes @ £44, new rear box @ £82, 3 hrs labour @ £49, Mot and vat, £700.I have aged 20 years already and it still has a misfire and suspected power steering bearing problem.
