My ZT-T was originally SN06 FOC but now 72-IC-67 since our move to Portugal in 2009, I might get away with crossing without paying but basically I am an honest chappie

When planning journeys these days it often depends on when you are going as to which is the best route. Different parts of the M25 load up depending on the day and time of day.
Yes, I have come to the conclusion that unless you choose the time you travel, you could double your journey time. When we used to go to Europe on the ferry, we always travelled at night. 01.00 ferry from Dover to Ostend, around 20.00 coming back to Dover. You could get a bit of a move on to get home to Brum then. Always stopped at South Mimms for something to eat and a drink, then off to Brum. No traffic hardly. Best ever was hour and quarter from South Mimm's to Brum in the Rover 3.5 SD1. I will deny it.. Don't think you could do it now, to much traffic.

Yep, me to, my son is on my account as is a friend who regularly uses the crossing. They do send you an E Mail reminder once your account gets low.

Used to love travelling at night, but these days so many sections and junctions of motorways have lane restrictions or are closed.
