Default Background on a Spectre ZT: DA53 AEE

Morning, 75 & ZT fans!

Those who know me, will be aware that I'm fascinated by the amazing range of colours that these cars came in.

I've recently bought a non-runner ZT in Monogram Spectre that's been delivered to Sean Carter's place in Wales for restoration. It's a CDTi Auto but the gearbox is wrecked and it has a number of other mechanical issues but none serious enough that Sean can't fix them.

I'm interested to know if anyone has any back history on this car. It's been off the road since 2012 but the bodywork and interior are very straight.

Any information greatfully received!

Many thanks!

James

I think I've already mentioned it to you, but the only history I know is how the gearbox got destroyed, and that it'd been sat at Signature in Preston for some time before being sold on.

It was there when I had my Spectre ZS - which was about 2 years ago now.

Can't offer any background James, but what a stunning rare car! Well done for saving it, and I'm sure you and Sean will do it justice and return it to former glory, if not better.

Thanks, Mark. It's going to rival Burt for prettiest car in my garage!
