I wasnt looking for an argument i was giving a helpful reply to the question posed re why it hadnt sold.
Folk just arent buying many petrol zt's for good money

zt190's for example due to the fuel rip off and they are available in good condition for 750 thats my point. Lets face it no one has snapped it up here or on e bay have they so if im so far wrong ? Fair enough.

I have just agreed sale on my lovely 150mph volvo T5 in good order and how much was it worth 400 pounds i could have got 450 but wouldnt have got 500

Still best of luck to you

Mas

Yes 2001/2 190s with a costly problem like clutch slave fault are going for around the £300/400 mark, but its a 1.8t on a 2004 plate with good history it should be selling for around the 1k mark.

The problem is everyone is buying these small cars with small engines so they don't have to pay road tax, thats fine until they come across a slow moving HGV etc and are just too scared/lack of engine power to over take it. I came across this just the other day 7 small cars behind a digger on a open A road and you could see the road ahead was clear for over half a mile and not one car was going to try to over take it, so i did all in one go and not one followed/tryed behind me!

Hope your car sells for a fair price on ebay as it does look tidy.
But our cars are not very expensive to buy, and fewer people have the time and knowledge to fix them.
Enjoy your new car and good luck with the sale .

If it hadn't been so far away I would have snapped it up for that price

Well my ebay experience with this car went pretty much as I thought it might, but hoped it wouldn't.

I made sure I was home on Sunday afternoon for a viewing by a bidder, but they didn't show up or have the commen decency to let me know.

The winning bidder on ebay was unfortunately newly registered and surprise, surprise, soon after the auction ended I get the following message:

"sorry mate i put in the wrong bid can you cancel it please sorry"

I don't see how he can put in 'the wrong bid' considering he made 3 bids, what a complete to55er!

I am now going to contact the next highest bidder to see if we can do a deal.
