Child lock

Hi all, I recently had my grand children in the car so put the child locks on. Once they had been collected I went to take the child locks off, but only the left hand door would return to normal. The right hand door, no matter how many times I move the little lever up & down, the child lock will not come off. Any ideas?

I would scoosh some WD40 into the locking mechanism.

I'll give anything a go once.........will let you know the outcome. Not doing it now though as absolutely heaving it down here in Portsmouth.

Nope, WD40 didn't work.
