Rover 75 Tourer Connoisseur 2.5 V6 Manual 174bhp **SOLD**
I've decided to sell my Tourer that I currently own.
Some info below. Rare manual 2.5 V6 Tourer Sunroof (rare option) Colour - Rover Moonstone 137k mileage Connoisseur spec (minus cruise control but can be retro fitted) Highline head unit but not working (needs connecting back up) Sandstone leather interior Bullet powerfold mirrors 16" Union alloys Heated front seats Traction control (rare factory option, works well) Electric Windows all round Speed locking Real walnut wood dash MOTD until mid September No service history Bodywork is good. Has some lacquer peel on front wing, no rust. This is one of the very early Tourers that were made and was apparently a Rover press car when released. Needs a very good clean inside and out. It needs a good clean inside and out but will scrub up well. I will do what I can beforehand. Plenums are checked and cleaned. Replaced balancer VIS motor so both VIS motors WORKING so car producing full power. This is a common issue on the V6 where a faulty VIS motor, or both causes a significant loss of power. Car starts and drives fine and holds fluids well. I check this regularly. The car has been on the Rover T4 diagnostic machine. This highlighted an issue with one of the oxygen sensors being faulty. This has since been replaced with a working one. The car handles very well and the traction control certainly helps with this. Front brake discs could do with replacing and bled and a good service. Boot release isn't working but I heard that this could be the fuse has blown. Only one key with the car. No service history, unfortunately as that's how I got the car and no records of timing belt being done. Both rear left side Parking sensors need replacing. Car also has the rear boot triangle to go with it too. Also has the rear early PPD boot spare wheel tray and the even rarer lid that goes on top so the wheel is hidden. No history of cam belts being done. Many thanks. Last edited by Ravinder; 20th August 2016 at 16:34.. |
