Click Start, The select Run and type in msconfig as JDC Said,

You will then see this below:

Then you click the ok button and the following box comes up. Make sure you only go into the last tab and uncheck programs that you are aware of:

Do not uncheck any of the boxes on the Tabs ending with " .INI " as you can render the Laptop unbootable (I learned the hard way ).
