Default Converting iTunes to MP3.

Hello and Happy New Year,

Can anybody recommend some software that will covert my iTunes downloads to MP3?

I can burn the tracks to CD and then rip them from there but I then have to recreate the tags.

Many thanks

Andy

In preferences select "Advanced/Importing" Import using MP3 Encoder
Then. Under the "Advanced "menu item select "convert selection to MP3."

I use a programme called Tunebite which cost about £15 and works fine

Thanks for all the replies.

GG I had tried that screen but as the tracks were copy protected it would not convert them.

Tunebite is excellent and does the trick!

The alternative to Tunebite for Mac users would be Audio Hijack.
