B4st4rds!!! Didn't even know such things existed. Neither did the garage... I have to say they LOOK identical to a Torx screw... the splines on my Torx keys seemed to line up with the slots, but wouldn't quite sink into the recess in the screw... it felt like maybe the hole in the middle was wrong...

I tried to Wiki Star Tamper Proof, but didn't find anything. Anyway, all done now thank God, and what a difference.
