Can anybody explain what is k.bus in the wiring loom.

The K-Bus is a communcation data bus which various electronic items in the car use to communicate with each other.

Among them, the Harmony and Symphony units use it to communicate with the CD changer.

I had to order this part from a main dealer i live in ireland and i had no joy in the UK or at home, Rimmers have them

Im not sure if this is a VU100330 but I bought this by mistake . . .

Convert the standard BMW plug to the standard connection used on all modern aftermarket stereos. PLUG and PLAY easy fitting for you to install any aftermarket radio such as ALPINE, JVC, KENWOOD, PIONEER, PANASONIC, or SONY. Please visit our store for these ISO Wiring harnesses.

This adaptor fits:-

BMW Mini:- (selected models with round pins)

BMW 3 Series:- Aug 1991 to Jan 2001

BMW 5 Series:- Jun 1988 to Nov 2000

BMW 7 Series:- Jan 1987 to 2007

BMW 8 Series:- Sep 1990 to 2007

BMW Z3:- Jan 1997 to 2007

BMW Z8:- Apr 2000 to 2007

Rover 25:- Dec 1999 to 2007 with BMW style loom.

Rover 45:- Feb 2000 to 2007 with BMW style loom.

Rover 75:- Jun 1999 to 2007 with BMW style loom.

Landrover Defender:- 2001 to 2007 with BMW style loom.

Discovery TD5:- 2000 to 2003 with BMW style loom.

Range Rover:- 2002 to 2007 with BMW style loom.
