Default Rover 214 For Sale £275 *SOLD*

In case anyone needs a runaround/stop-gap car my Rover 214 is for sale. I have owned the car for nearly 2 years and used it for commuting, the mileage has just turned 83,000. The car has the 8 valve engine. It is quite an endearing little car.

The MOT is until January 2016, I do not envisage any problems when it is due again. Last year I knew the tyres were bad but did not want to put a set on in case there were a number of other issues that needed attention, the only advisory was the tyres and so I got a set of 4 put on the car.

I was told that the head gasket had been replaced by the previous owner, the fan comes on as it should and there is no sign of any problems.

I have changed the front disc pads and serviced the car, it is due an oil service, other than that I have only had to change the radiator - which I did about a month ago.

The body work is pretty clean, the rear wheel arches are solid. There was a little surface rust on the rear ends of the sills which I treated and just painted with Hammerite. The front wings are sound too. The interior is clean and the fabric seats and carpets have no rips.

Other than that it is what it is. Cheap to run, insure and in a lower road tax band. When the seats are folded it can take a huge load so ideal for trips to the tip etc.

Please message me if you would like any more details.
