Out of Balkans
Similar to Phil`s thread I will share here some pictures from my travels through the Balkans.
Will gather the old ones here too. Lets start: Bulgaria near Sapareva bania: Went to the Rila Mountain`s winter resort Panichishte and above - just 10km away. Snow conditions above 1300m ASL: We arrived to the place where I can propose our herbal products. The duty was accomplished Did you spot the naked from the waist up woman?: He is noticeable, isn`t he? It started snowing. We drink cup of warm healthy herbal tea with this view: Outside: The air was definitely clean, fresh and healthy. But what is a health? Both physical and spiritual one. There is a church nearby - we went to visit it: The SPA procedures were done - the result will be cleared up to the end of the next week. When we fulfilled our aim we went home. Here are some photos with beautiful views taken during the traveling back home:

Easter 2016 - Greece and Macedonia
Quote:
Will do it for sure --- On our Easter two years ago we went to a 3 days trip to Meteora. Stunning place in Greece connected to the history and religion. Firstly we visited Ohrid lake in Macedonia: Then St. Naum Monastery /a place connected to our history - IX century/: On the next day we visited an island in Prespa lake where a few years ago an archeologist from Greece found the grave of one of our great Kings - Samuil /958-1014/: Then we went to our main aim - Meteora. A magnificent place with plenty of monasteries perched on the rocks: On the way back to Bulgaria we went again in Macedonia and visited Belasitsa Mountain and some of the famous waterfalls there: Some trues written along the trails there: ... and finally my credo:

Lovely shots there Hrissim, lovely to see and I agree with Reworht most of us will never see.
I particularly like that monastery built on the cliff top, one can only imagine the difficulties in building there. |

Easter 2018
Thank you guys - I`m glad that you like the places I visited.
The Balkans aren`t they used to be. So - our Easter is one week later than yours - we are the Orthodox Christians. Our Easter Holiday was with extra two free days - Friday and Monday. I went to Serbia - just ~100km. from the border. Was on Easter Mass in the central church in Leskovac. It was interesting that within the church we heard the music from a disco club nearby I went there after the Mass To drink a beer and to dance a bit. ~3 hours later went to a forest in ~25km from the town to tent. In the morning the birds awaken me. On the road to the nearest village I found a stunning spot to drink my morning coffee: Down below in left this is a Water Power Station - that steep ware the slopes over here. Then we went to the village center where we found a place with a child playground, a fountain, trees and banches. On one of them we did our breakfast/lunch. Afterwards I visited Vlasinsko lake. Some pictures from it, its surroundings and from our wild camp near the lake: the beer bottles I take with me and throw them in the bin: On Monday morning i rode my bike on the lake shore: found some unfortunate shipwreck ... and a beautiful spring flowers: Finally - this way we can live forever /do we Lordy? /: Cheers from the hammock! PS: On the road back my 4 year old battery went kaput - inner shortcirquit. Phoned my cousin and he brought me one to take me home.

Hi Hristo and all folks, we ho live here also never see most of the nature round us. Chasing hurry of live can't take a little breath of fresh air. Keep that way is inspiring. We wait our princes to grow up little to be more easy for traveling.
