The trick with clay is to cut it into a couple of bits and keep in warm water close by, after every panel swap to a warm piece from the jug.
Turn frequently and use plenty of lubrication. |

Bilt Hamber Auto Clay simply needs water as lube, the regular is harsher than the soft.
If car never been clayed before i would use the regular to get on top of it. Takes some working the regular as it needs warming well. The Soft is very easy to work both come in 200g tubs cut into 4 or even eight pieces. Doing the car every 6 months with the big block cut to 50 gram blocks and using a new piece each time thats 2 years worth a real bargain. Just bag the used piece for using on the wheels, oh dont forget if you drop it throw it and use fresh so take the 50gram cut in half and then if you do drop it its not such a loss... Also you can clay the glass dont forget.. |
