Trim fixing required
I've finally found the cause of the water ingress in the boot of my Mk1 saloon - the N/S chrome trim strip fixings. I have removed the trim strip but the rear fastener appears to have been some sort of captive bolt which has been badly bodged sometime in the past and is now just a lump of badly corroded metal. The other 5 clips/fixings I already have but I cannot find this rearmost item listed at Rimmers and wonder if one of you kind persons could please identify and supply one?

the rear fixing is part of the trim and as such not available as a separate part
your best bet is a second hand trim with the fixing intact.there is a rover breaker on the a47 i think at a place called brook its on the industrail es.t i am sure they or member will be able to help
