I asked how long it had been in his "Private Collection" and he didn't/wouldn't give me an answer.

Just a question; if everyone is so concerned regarding this seller and his listing practices, if you believe they are misleading or giving the wrong information, promoting false claims or he is using practices that are underhand, then all good and well for highlighting the fact, but then why not go that extra step to protect more vulnerable buyers, simply click on 'Report Item'

I am sure if E bay see so many concerned reports regarding selling the selling practice, they will pay attention

Wow the knowledge on this forum is awesome.

To be honest if this seller was in The Netherlands and driving the car would be OK i would definitely buy this car. It look very good (i do prefer bigger rims and darker walnut).

Meanwhile in the real world.... Do you honestly believe eBay would take notice?

The guy is undoubtedly a shark, doesn't necessarily make him a crook. Good spot by others on here. I remember it when it was first listed on it's Guernsey plates. Car looks nice in the photos, but as we know that's never the full story.

Actually Yes, I do..... message from E Bay Admin, "we are looking at this listing to see if it contravenes any of our policies"

Back in the 'Real World' a nation of complainers that "don't want to complain" simple solution: either complain correctly or let the guy be after all, not like he's hurting anyone (or anyone with a little knowledge)
