All ready for Duxford
Spent a pleasant morning giving the '75 a wash & brush up in readyness for Sundays National. Some random pics:
And if you think the boots not shut properly, you're right! And of course, just as I'd finished cleaning: Let's hope for some good weather for the day. Cliff

How is everything under the bonnet so.... clean and shiny?
I wish my engine bay looked as tidy as this.

Just good old time and patience (and a little elbow grease).
Had the '75 for some 10 years now and have been quietly progressing around the engine bay bit by bit. Car still gets used daily, but once it's clean, maintenance is pretty easy. Cliff

The weather this end can't make it's mind up and so Roger is outside looking a bit miserable but hope to make a start on cleaning tomorrow and get him looking better but not up to your standards, sorry but he's had a hell of a previous life and so many scars, but he is a great car. See you there. JohnH. |

I've spent the day washing and polishing Wedgie ready for Sunday. It's been a scorching sunny day and as I'm follically challenged I now have a beaming red bonce! Might have to keep a low profile at Duxford in case air traffic try to kidnap me and use me as a back up landing beacon.
