Has any member fitted a headlamp self levelling kit? Any information would be appreciated.

You need the OEM xenon projectors to do this, together with the level detectors for front and rear suspension arms and possibly a different light switch front panel.

From what I can make out the sensors are wired to the LSM, so it may be possible to add them on without coding the BCU.

I'm afraid it needs the ZCS coding to be altered for them to work properly, same is also true of the opposite, scrapping the self levelling system and then fitting the thumbwheel adjustment on the LSM, swapping the front panels of the LSM won't help. ( I've tried it and it doesn't work )

Thanks For your comments Gents. The reason I asked the question was because of the review by VOSA of the possible future changes to the MOT regarding car Headlights and their conformity. Many club members have upgraded their headlamps to the xenon type. I’m one. And there’s no going back to standard lamps. So hopefully there is a solution to self levelling these lamps.
