Rover 75 Estate help with pricing please
£2000?????
Could some kind soul help me price my 2004 Rover 75 Estate. My brother bought it for me to drive back from Geneva to London and as it is a RHD and previously registered in the UK I ended up re-importing it. The paperwork has just come through and it is back on its original plates. There is service history in the UK until it was exported to Switzerland. The guy who owned it moved to Geneva. Then in Geneva there is service history until 2010 And then it was on a garage forecourt for 1+years until my bother bought it. Rover Club 75 estate se CDTI tourer Dark blue BMW Diesel engine 1951cc year of manufacture 2004 Discounting myself and the Geneva garage there has been one owner from new. Current mileage 21k 4 new German Tyres bought on my way back to London for Euros 480 New MOT Oil filter and pollen filter change 26th August 2014 Condition is what one would expect for a car with only 20k Interior is tweed in very good condition and bodywork is also in top condition The only fault is that there is a noise coming from the catalytic converter on the exhaust which the mechanic told me not to worry about but I will probably get this sorted before advertising it. Thanks for your help. Last edited by daviddmf; 15th November 2014 at 09:51.. |

Send a pm with the details to MrDoodles, he's in the trade and will send you a valuation by pm.
While your waiting for Mark to respond, have a look on ebay, autotrader and gumtree. Those sites have a menu, where you can enter year, mileage, etc, and that may give you a base to start from.

When you have an idea of the asking price come back here and don't forget that

Not clear on this post, is it 'selling' a car or simply use the site as a valuation page?

Good point valuation and potential sale depending on value.

Sounds like another way saying 'open to offers'
There are plenty of other ways of trying to establish market value of a car as has been said - ebay, autotrader, parkers, webuyanycar etc. I don't think the for sale section on this forum is one of them. |

I agree fully, and all due respect but a Brand new member coming on with the Valuation/sale, leads to one thinking is the site used as a place to become part of the community to gain or share experiences amongst fellow members, or solely as a 'Free Ad' section.
Sorry if I sound so Negative, this is just my opinion Or is it?
