lt is a great-looking car but the fact that it really needs the belts renewing takes it out of the pocket money bracket (well, my pocket money anyway).

Well worth doing it though, l'd have thought.

The belts would be in the region of £550 more or less. Screen would be roughly £70 via insurance. Fan, maybe £120 if fitted yourself.

Have this done and you would have a car to be completely proud of.

I wish I'd bought this back instead of the one that I did buy which also has belts on the list of things to consider. Hindsight eh?

Come on folks, find this a good home before I do something silly (again).

Just to complete thread, my brother picked this car up at the weekend, it managed the 245 mile trip home with ease. Now sat on the drive where it will be sorned awaiting the time for me and him to tackle the belts and re-brush fan. Lovely car that will hopefully be back on road by Christmas and give many more years service.

Thanks for a pleasant transaction.

Default Update

This car was bought as a project to have a go at the jobs and then be used as a daily driver. The jobs have been done, fan fixed, Belts and new windscreen and as of 1st October will be a daily driver. Sorry mate but the crowns had to go:

Its gathered a bit of dust being of the road for a few months but now will hopefully be on the road for many years.
