Hi,

I really love the icon representing the car on the sat nav picture.

Just picked up on this thread, your car still guides me to my destination Tony never got round to changing it, doesn't seem right to do so now some how. That is the one thing missing on mine is the traffic master other than that all is well, freeview a bit problematic at times when on the go.

Parker, I would have thought you would get a good signal being that your area is now fully covered with the DTV change over

Yes it is quite a strong signal and I bought a new 96db aerial but there are still black spots even now. I keep moving the aerial about but haven't come to a conclusion on an ideal location. At present it sits on the rear parcel shelf, it has been in the boot but the signal is not so strong then. The best place realy is middle of the roof but I could not live with the look and hassle of attaching it daily. I think the receiver itself has a part to play and maybe that could be a better quality and would therefore improve signal, I have one of the Xtron freeview boxes.

I have been looking at this unit:-

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Seem to work very well, even at speeds of 270km plus.

My birthday is at the end of this week, I MIGHT treat myself to the unit from Cathy and the receiver unit!!!

You tube video of the unit being tested:-
