Default Maf sensor which one ?

After reading about MAF issues via this very useful forum I tried unplugging mine on my ZTT cdti to see if it made any difference WOW it is a totally different car so seems my MAF is knackered ,dilemma is there seems to be a few choices out there
E BAY genuine Bosch £109
Rimmerbros genuine Rover/MG £119
Eurocarparts genuine Bosch £149 with weekend web discount.
has anyone had any experience with the E Bay genuine there seems to be a lot of fakes out there or is there an even cheaper source of real genuine ones.

I'd go for the Rimmer Bosch.

Rimmer won't sell knock or parts, or I highly doubt it anyway. Extra £10 gives you that peace of mind.

I don't believe there are any MAF differences between the three different sources you've mentioned.

Could always have a Mafless remap though. It's basically a remap that map's the MAF out of the car so it no longer uses it. Some people like the idea, some don't.

an alternative HERE, remove the MAF from the housing. Not tried it, but have read it is the same from some very reliable sources on here.

If you consider the Rimmer's one, make sure it is a Bosch. 'Genuine MGR' could be a sourced one with an MGR label on it.

I've done this on one of mine, had it on T4 and it's in spec. Seem to remember I paid about £79 for it. Hope that helps

There are several types of Bosch MAF, get the right number to ensure the calibration is the right one for your car...
