Default Boot drains?

Since moving, I now park nose down on the drive. This causes the cavity between the bottom of the boot strut and rear window to fill with water. The drive causes it to be level rather than sloping away. I don't really like this, even if it's just overnight, so thought I might glue a couple of long straws in there and hope it drains. Any suggestions? SWMBO just said "Park in the road" Women eh? gotta love 'em

My drive is exactly the same, causing me to have to park nose down as well with the same pooling of water as you. I've not managed to think of a way of stopping this but in the two years I've been having this happening it doesn't seem to have caused any problems.

I thought it was the cause of my boot flooding but it actually turned out to be the rear light seals.

Mine doesn't leak into the boot either, just don't like the pooling. Very soon these mini lakes will become blocks of ice. I have a tailored plastic boot floor cover fitted, with a lip, so the carpet won't get wet anyway.

Yes but it's tight, drivers door would be against a metal rail.

Understand, sort of same problem with my driveway - passengers side needs to be close up to wall so I can get out of drivers side ......
