upon inspection of my 75 it appears to have the webasto heater thingy can somebody please answer a few questions for me.

how do i test it to see if it works?
on ebay there are some timers for these is it just a simple case of fitting them and will they work on my 75?

Yes, that should do the trick.
I can highly recommend the guy. Bougth the very same type of timer from him 6 mo ago.

As for the other questions, you should be able to find the info in the HOW TO section.

Hi 7t5 and welcome to the forum.

Based on the question about the timer, I presume you do not have one. In that case the heater will activate when the ignition is on and the temperature is below 5 degrees.

If you want to test it, earth out pin 3 (front block connector on top of unit, front left pin). You will hear the fan spin and will be able to feel some suction on the air intake.
