Removal of diesel intercooler hoses.
Just a quick question if the diesel intercooler hoses are able to be removed by loosening the jubilee clips and leaving the plastic elbow joint with the o rings on, still connected to the intercooler. I have already had the o rings done on the elbow joint done by Artic last year and I would rather if possible leave the elbow joint fitted whilst removing the hoses.
Thank you |

yes it is , also if you have a flexiable drive for the screwdriver bit it helps in doing the clip up on the elbow

Yes, you may like to try a small 1/4" drive ratchet fitted with a 7mm socket. I think 7mm is the usual size for a jubilee but could be 8mm. Be careful when re-tightening because you get more pressure on the screw with a socket.

Thank you for the replies, I have ordered a set of replacement hoses from Jules and will fit them when they arrive.
