Default CD Stack fault

Hi; new to this and just registered today; recently purchased my MG ZT from my neighbour; problem today with the CD stack. First kept trying to LOAD CD; now have fault message on player 'NO SRC'. Can anyone advise please ?

You may have a CD stuck in the unit, is the unit in the glove compartment, if so
What worked for me if you could gently tap the underneath while pressing the
Eject button might just release the cartridge,

thanks for your reply; 6-CD stack is in the boot; tried tapping it but cassette appears stuck as you say. Looks to me as if no power to it but I think the radio player and the CD stack are fed from same fuse so unsure where to look now.

Is the boot wet Common fault unfortunately, check the fuses under the glovebox, can't remember which one atm

When I had a problem with the cd changer in the glovebox on my ZTT, I disconnected the lead to the cd changer and left it unplugged for a while and reconnected it again and it then seemed to work normally.

Many thanks for help; checked out fuses and was thinking of removing the stack box; decided to press eject button one last time and cassette ejected no problem. I think I need more patience with my 'new' ZT !
