The one thing that these cars do excel at is soaking up big mileages in comfort.

The last big drive I did in a ZT, without a single stop I hasten to add, was a drive from Cardigan Bay in South Wales to Newcastle.

I got home, opened the door, got out strolled down the drive, looked back at the car and thought.......I could do it all again without a single regret

There is no reason to think negatively about the trip, yes the timing could have been better, but that's life, simply enjoy the ride and get a bit more acquainted with the car......you'll love it

This is very true Brian. The longest drive I've ever Er... driven was with Sara, my old '75! 720 miles non stop from the Kent Sussex border to the Czech Republic! She did this there and back without any problems whatsoever!

So when my then work colleagues said Rovers are pants, I responded with that information...

I've yet to take Alison on such a journey. I will do soon though!

To put Sara's Drive into perspective, that was the equivalent of driving from Kent to Cornwall and back- in one day!

I think it took 17.5 hours!

Hi Rikki,
If you have any concerns whilst you are around Gosport, give me a shout, and I'll see if I can help. Sure I won't need to see/hear from you though....
