My Serpents are under the car now, they needed a new set of tyres. What a difference it makes!
And I have changed the clock in the MK2 clock, but I kept the amber lighting. I'm looking for a new set of headlights, because the current ones have condens on the inside.

And I have a new headlight! Cleaned both and did a little polish (with toothpaste... )
Future mods are: - Speedo with LCD screen - New handle for the blinking lights with the button. - Self dimming mirror - Full Chrome Grille - Sandstone leather Gaiters for Handbrake and gear. - Another walnut upgrade (handbrake, arm rest, whatever)

A lot of mods have been done last months...
New gaiters and a wooden handbrake grip: and Harman Kardon Tweeters, much more better sound by the way! And I hav new plans for the car. I want to convert it to MK2 at the outside as well. With a Roewe 750 bumper at the front, and a full MK2 convert a the back. I started with the chrome logo and grip at the back: And of course the wheel center caps: Last weeks I have bought a 750 bumper, MK2 headlights, and a MK2 rear bumper; Both bumpers will be sprayed in the right colour coming weeks, and than they will be fitted of course.

Very good work but would it not have been easier to buy a higher spec 75 in the first place?

More easier; yes! More fun: no!
The challenge of buying this car was to make it a premium car with a personal touch. All with original R75 parts, the 750 bumper is semi-original than. It's just a hobby, searching for parts, how does things work, how to install it, and of course; how much I love to drive it.

Today I've ordered the new PDC sensors, the current ons were failing (two don't "click" when they go on). So I'll fit them this week, than they can be sprayed in the same colour.
And I have a new front window today, because a stone hit it last week when overtaking a lorry....

The packetservice had a busy day here today... They arrived 3 times....
The new parking sensors arrived, so I instantly fitted them, so the bumpers are ready for their new colour; Than the new bonnet release latch came in, I'll fit that one when the bumper is off. Next were the wind deflectors, very easy to fit, and I like the looks of it: This weekend I will bring the bumpers to the garage which will spray them MidNight Blue.

The chrome work contrasts very nicely with the Midnight Blue paintwork. On mine (Platinum Gold) and some of the other lighter colours, it tends to get lost
