Default Focal's

Mmm! Very tempting Jeff, don't think I could convince the Mrs though, especially after my home cinema speaker purchase earlier this year!
Yep, weather was ideal & I hope it will be the same when you finally get to visit the Norfolk Broads.

Hi All

Very excited to be installing my eclipse, but having some early problems so any help much appreciated.

This unit does not appear to recognise I have my Ipod attached (via the rear USB port). Ipod was fine on my previous wince and naval star.

TV menu just showing in a foreign language and not responding to pressing the menu key which I thought might be where I need to go.

On start up shows a BMW logo!

Cd/dvd drive is quite noisy and can be heard above quiet music which I guess is more a fault than something fixable!

Thanks for any forthcoming help.

Stuart

Ps Sean/Jeff - The OBD2 was not sent with the unit. Not urgent though.

Little update:-

The start-up logo can be changed in Factory Settings (password 126) under Car Logo. There is not a Rover MK2 Logo available though, just MK1 and MG.

Also in factory settings there are various choices for TV type, but having worked my way through them (any many other things in the past 6 hours) I've not found one to get the DVB-T tv working yet.

Ipod - In Factory settings Ipod was set to "No" by default, so I changed it to yes, that once it had re-booted gave me a Ipod Icon on one of the screens, but when selected it flashes up with a screen saying " No Music" and then goes back to the screen with the icon on it.

I have e-mailed Sean, so hopefully some help in due course.

Cheers

Stuart

I will be doing more 'how to' YouTube videos on various aspects of the Eclipse soon but at the moment I'm rather snowed under getting the orders sent out

Hi Stuart,

We have run out of OBD diagnostic translators so will get one sent out to you as soon as stock comes back in.....Sorry!

On the new Eclipse radio the forward facing camera has no slot for a Micro Card, where does it record too.

To the sd card in the double din.....I think you can specify either gps or media card but don't quote me on that as I haven't played with the front camera....... yet
