Tyres/Steering
Is it possible tyres could effect the steering etc/ My LWB steering would would suddenly pull to the left or right but be okay on a smooth road in a straight line, anyway, changed the wheels over from my Tourer and steering is excellent with no pulling either left or right, and the steering on the Tourer seems to be okay with the swapped wheels??? Yes of course...
Everything affects the feel... Sidewall stiffness, tread pattern, profile of the tyre, softness of compound, whether runflat or not. FWIW best tyres Ive ever felt on a ZT (v8 included) were Hankook Ventus Evo2's. Had a load of others, Falkens, Contis Vredestein... list goes on, nothing came close to the feel of the Hankooks. Lovely weight to the steering, plenty grip, good wear. Totally subjective of course. |
