Blimming heck, a welcome update but not one that I suspect we all would have liked. Come on Phil, you can do it.

Its shocking news John about Phil, but he is in the best place. A shock for his family and his close friends. A worrying time for you.

Thank you for the update. Just trying to think of practical help for the long term.

A site I use from time to time and a proven resource for GP's and patients alike in the UK, is in the link below.
https://patient.info/
This offers support through professionals and patients posting up about the different medical conditions. Information is shared about the latest research and treatments through the specialities.

People write up what it is like for them, the difficulties they are having, their fears, sometimes solutions and how to live with something as serious as what Phil has. The site is moderated. One can register anonymously with a screen name, read the posts or ask a question. An NHS initiative.

Phil is in my prayers. God bless

Thanks you all very much for the kind words.

I am feeling much better now, the medication is bringing down the blood pressure and getting rid of the excess internal fluid, breathing is much easier and i can lay down and sleep now!!

Everything will carry on as normal here and not going to rush anything, if your going to Duxford, i will see you there

Good to hear that you're on the mend Phil. Don't overdo things though... take it easy and get back to full strength
