Bypass Relay Tell Tale
I have a tow bar fitted to my tourer with a Bypass Relay that has a built in sounder and the option for a dash mounted Tell Tale.
I can't really hear the sounder, and was wondering if there was any way that the Tell Tale can be made to make the 'caravan' light on the dash flash? Other than moving the relay or adding an external sounder, any other ideas?

The proper way is to fit the genuine Rover (though I think the BMW will also work) towing ECU which hooks into the vehicle's loom, feeds the towbar, and has a K-bus link to the LSM to bring on bulb warnings and caravan dash indicator. It is possible to use the dash indicator without the genuine ECU, but it involves such butchery to the IPK that I'd not advise it.
